As part of Munich Re Group MedNet Egypt is one of the leading managed care service organizations that caters to healthcare needs. We are currently seeking to hire Assistant IT Manager / Infrastructure & Security with the following tasks and responsibilities:

Your Job

• Manage the effective achievement of the IT department objectives in relation to the Cyber Security & Infrastructure through setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing staff and providing formal and informal feedback in order to maximise overall performance and team motivation.
• Forecast Security, Infrastructure project requirements, prepare and recommend the IT budget and ensure all activities are carried out in accord with the approved budget.
• Manage the planning and design activities of the IT infrastructure, including hardware and networking to meet the needs of users, and ensure all objectives are delivered to time and budget.
• Lead the review and development of detailed infrastructure and network requirements specifications based on current and future business needs and provide input to network capital planning and budgeting to the Munich corporate IT.
• Help the application team to setup the right application architecture to achieve the highest secure environment and high availability.
• Liaise with all MedNet group companies in the event of regional projects in order to ensure effective execution of initiatives in accord with quality and corporate guidelines.
• Manage various IT hardware & Security projects in all project stages in order to ensure project objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner.
• Together with Med Net group counterparts, participate in the introduction of best practices in System Implementation initiatives in order to upgrade the functionality and provide improved support for achievement of business objectives.
• Supervise the preparation of IT system reports in a timely and accurate manner to meet MedNet policies and standards, and department requirements.
• Attend and participate in the vendor selection to review and approve the quotations, timeframe, costs, functionality, quality assurance, user satisfaction in order to meet the user requirements in accord with corporate IT policy standards.
• Make sure that all MedNet Companies following the same standards and policy in related of Infrastructure, Security and end user support.
• Oversee the implementation of an effective and robust back up and security systems to safeguard and protect all IT operations while ensuring optimum mitigations of IT related risks and the reliability / integrity of data.
