 As part of Munich Re Group MedNet Egypt is one of the leading managed care service organizations that caters to healthcare needs. We are currently seeking to hire Compliance Officer with the following tasks and responsibilities:

Your Job:

  • In coordination with the Regional Team, manage the overall relationship with local regulator as required, coordinate all tasks with these institutions to ensure fulfillment of regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain the MedNet compliance management system including required tools as well as development and maintenance of a compliance manual to meet and adhere to local and Munich standards.
  • Develop a compliance plan based on the compliance risk assessment and update it regularly and annually at a minimum.
  • Maintain and update the Financial Crime and AML policies and procedures, systems and controls.
  • Assist with preparing for the Board Meetings of MedNet to meet legal and regulatory requirements and to ensure the legal and compliance topics are properly included and follow up tasks completed if required by the Board.
  • Maintain and update the Board governance documents including incorporation originals, shareholder resolutions and relevant legal and regulatory papers.
  • In the role as an independent and supervisory function, conduct reviews and audits in governance topics at MedNet, implement corrective actions where required and issue reports to the management.
  • Assist with drafting MedNet contracts, agreements and letters to satisfy legal and compliance requirements as well as inter-company billing and auditor requirements to ensure services are agreed on and provided in a legal and compliant manner along with maintaining and managing record keeping of these contracts.
  • Monitor renewal dates of all MedNet contracts, agreements, licenses and permits to ensure business operations can continue in a smooth manner.

 

 

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor degree in Law.
  • Diplomas in Compliance and Anti Money Laundering preferred.
  • Good knowledge of minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance and regulatory business affairs.
  • Experience in commercial/ insurance law.
  • Experience in compliance and management strategy development, procedures, tools and techniques as well as implementation, along with experience in dealing with regulators as well as higher management levels.
  • Good knowledge of the applicable laws and regulations relating to company governance and obligations.
  • Good Knowledge of insurance legislation and instructions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with fluency in English is a must; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Solid legal skills, Good interpersonal and communication skills, detailed and diligent work attitude, investigative .
