As a member of Munich Re the MedNet Group is a leading TPA across the MEA region. We are currently seeking to hire a Finance Business Partner with the following tasks and responsibilities.

Your Job

  • Manage / develop monthly and quarterly financial projections for MedNet Saudi Arabia and forward to regional stakeholders to ensure budget and business plans are thorough, conservative and financially feasible.
  • Monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/ revenues, and areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalised upon.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial management information is prepared with detailed analysis of income and expenditure
  • Work in close partnership with the individual budget holders and the central finance team to provide accurate, timely and comprehensive annual budgets as well as monthly re-forecasts.
  • To independently conduct monthly review meetings with budget holders and to act as a key point of contact to support the budget holders with commercial business, capital and investment proposals.
  • Cost review to ensure costs are reported in the correct cost centres and chart of accounts codes.
  • Monthly presentation of financial performance, full year forecasts and budget variances including understanding financial opportunities and risk. Challenge the local leadership team to understand the cost drivers of the business and provide insight to the non-finance members.
  • To build strong relations and provide financial support to commercial decision making.
  • Challenge current ways of working, driving efficiencies and cost savings wherever possible
  • Assist with year end audit.

Your Profile

  • Fully qualified accountant (CPA/CMA or equivalent)
  • 10 years accounting & financial reporting experience in a multinational organisation
  • Experience of running and performing budgeting or forecasting processes.
  • Commercial acumen.
  • Excellent analytical ability with a good attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present plans to support business decisions.
  • Determined and assertive, prepared to get into the detail to understand the complex cost drivers of the business.
  • Good time management skills, ability to prioritise workload and ability to work to strict reporting deadlines.
  • Experience working with Oracle Financial reporting tools would be a plus
  • Ability to operate effectively with both internal and external customers
  • Good command of English
