Senior IT Project Manager
· Institutionalize a pragmatic approach to IT project portfolio management on a group level supporting the regional management team and General Managers in decision-making and driving execution of IT projects of different scale
· Responsible for shaping and balancing the necessary resource plan needed to deliver the IT projects within the portfolio
· Responsible for identifying and managing complex interdependencies between projects in the portfolio, if any
· Update and provide regular overall status updates on achievements, risks, and actions required for the IT projects within the portfolio
· For assigned IT projects, accountable for defining project approach, scope, critical path, and planning, to ensure achieving deliverables within agreed timelines
· Accountable for the management and delivery of IT projects on time, with quality, and within the approved budget
· Recognising and mitigating IT project risks, resolving issues, and pro-actively managing any corrective actions or change requests throughout the lifetime of the project
· Liaise with risk and compliance functions to ensure that solutions meet MedNet and Munich Re’s regulatory and control requirements
· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology, Mathematics, or Business Administration
· At least, 10 years of experience in a similar role (the insurance industry is not a must)
· Sound experience in operations and IT project management (Project Management qualifications – PRINCE, APM, PMP are an advantage)
· Process improvement training and experience are an advantage
· Good knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially profound experience in developing PowerPoint Presentations, MS Projects, and MS Excel
Fluent in business English (verbal and written skills)
