System Administrator
MedNet Jordan is one of the leading managed care service organizations that caters to healthcare needs. We are currently seeking to hire System Administrator – IT Department (on Hybrid working modules basis) with the following tasks and responsibilities:
Your Job
• Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and system software.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
• Maintain documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures.
• Apply operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
• Implement and monitor disaster recovery and backup solutions.
• Support end-users with hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Plan and implement system automation as needed for efficiency.
• Participate in IT infrastructure projects, upgrades, and migrations.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry best practices.
Your Profile
• Proven experience as a Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and protocols.
• Experience with virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), Windows/Linux servers.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Knowledge of security best practices and risk management.
• Ability to write scripts in languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Certifications (Preferred):
• Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator / Solutions Architect
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Cisco CCNA/CCNP
• VMware VCP, Nutanix
